Aliza Knowledge Foundation is a grassroots non-profit working across Darbhanga, Bihar, turning education, health, empowerment and skill into everyday opportunity.
Aliza Knowledge Foundation was established in 2024 by Ashraf Ali, alongside co-founder Zainab Ali, born from a simple but powerful belief: that knowledge, when shared, has the power to transform entire communities.
What began as a commitment to bring quality education to children in rural Darbhanga has grown into a broader movement. Today we work across four connected pillars: education, health, financial empowerment and skill. We have seen that real, lasting change rarely comes from a single direction.
From our running school to women-led Self-Help Groups and community health camps, every initiative is designed with the same intent: to help families move from dependence toward dignity and self-reliance.

To empower disadvantaged communities across Bihar through accessible education, quality healthcare, financial inclusion and skill development, enabling every family to build a self-reliant and dignified life.
A society where knowledge, health and opportunity reach every household, where no child is left out of school and no woman is left without the means to shape her own future.
The principles that shape every decision and every program we run.
We lead with empathy, meeting every family with respect and genuine care.
We act with honesty and transparency, accountable to the people we serve.
We build capability, not dependence, so communities can lead themselves.
We treat education as the foundation of all lasting progress.
We reach the last household, especially women, children and the marginalised.
We design programs that endure and grow long after they begin.
When we invest in a child's education or a woman's livelihood, we are not offering charity, we are unlocking potential that was always there.
I founded Aliza Knowledge Foundation in 2024 with the conviction that our communities in Darbhanga are full of talent and determination, and simply need the right opportunities. Every school class, every health camp, every Self-Help Group is a step toward a more equal, more capable Bihar. I invite you to walk this journey with us.
Real change begins when a girl is given the chance to learn, and a woman the means to stand on her own.
As co-founder, I work closely with the women and families we serve across Darbhanga. Whether it is a classroom, a health camp or a Self-Help Group, our goal stays the same, to make sure no one is left behind. Together, we are building a community where knowledge and dignity belong to everyone.
Aliza Knowledge Foundation is led by a founding team committed to education, equality and grassroots development in Darbhanga.
